[Information] Change OS from Windows to Chrome

 According to the change of the usage OS from Windows to Crome,  some fonts colors have been changed from the conventional ones in my blogs. As you know, Windows 10 has stopped their support. So, I have decided the change of my main PC from Windows PC to Chromebook.

To keep the PC performance as far as possible, I have selected Chromebook plus. I would like to share my impression of the change.

<Merits>

• Stress free⋯Chrome PC can start up immediately only with the input password/finger touch. The improvement is dramatic due to almost no waiting time of the start up. The response times seem to be faster as far as I used.
• Security up⋯In general, Chromebooks are more safety due to the lower risk of malwares.
• cost of PC price⋯As I selected a Chromebook plus model, it may not be correct. But, I feel it cheeper.
• Escape from Windows softs⋯ I have already tried it for Web Browser/mail software. But, due to the stop of the technical support for Windows 10, I need to accelerate my activity and to rethink from the ground up it including OS and so on. But, for example, personal printer can be replaced by online printer in convenience stores. My personal mail adress could be shared with G mail. Excel could be shared the functions to Google  Sheets as far as not so complicated ones (I just use only free functions). Anyway, at this moment, I have been able to escape from subscriptions.
• Gemini (AI)⋯Gemini is very useful in stead of manuals. It can be understood what I would like to ask. It's nice for the assistant of English translation. My poor English may be caused by the self translation in stead of dumping  all the work to AI.
• Restore session⋯Even if the power becomes off, the sessions should be recoverd soon and easily in general. How many times have I lost all working data by sudden power off!
• AUE⋯ Chrome OS and security may have the update for 10 years for new models since 2021 sold.

<Demerits>

• Required online work⋯most functions are required on line status.
• Differrence of keyboard placement⋯It is different from Windows ones. It should be requied some my patience until I get used to it.
• Differrences from Windows⋯There are many ones, and some degree of limitation of functions. They may require some time  until I get used to it.
• Few models⋯ As the choice of Chrome models may be  minor for personal usages especially required for high specifications, we may not select so many models to buy.
• Usage restrictions⋯ No usage is availabe for software/appilications for Windows/mac OS.
•  low specification⋯Most models have only low specification of CPU/small memory . So, there is the limitation for the selection of Chromebook models.
• limitation of usages of outer HDD⋯I'm not sure because of no usage at this moment.
• small inner memory
• unsuitable for hard work⋯CPU specifications are not so high. It's to be required the specification what you want to use. It's hard to use heavy tasks like as video editing, graphic processing, or online games with high quality/high respose time required.
